WHO CAN APPLY:
State of CT-certified non-profit organizations in good standing, who serve the Canton community. All applicants will be required to submit documentation of their organization’s current State of CT Tax Exempt Status, per Section 501C of the IRS Code.

WHEN TO APPLY:
Community Partner Grant applications are accepted once a year, beginning March 1, 2026. All applications must be received no later than April 30, 2026 in order to be considered.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM COMMUNITY PARTNER GRANT AVAILABLE?
The maximum Grant award in 2026 is $7,500.
PURPOSES FOR WHICH FUNDING MAY BE GRANTED:
CCHF invests in community health services, programming and/or education; equipment for 1st Responders; and other initiatives that directly and significantly impact the health & public safety of Canton residents. Funding for supplies, under $100.00, may be granted if they are directly related to the Community Partner Grant request.
PURPOSES FOR WHICH FUNDING WILL NOT BE GRANTED:
CCHF does not approve Community Partner Grants for: sectarian or religious activities; individuals; for-profit organizations; paid or volunteer staff expenses, training or travel; capital or infrastructure expenditures or repairs; organizational administration or operations; marketing materials/campaigns; facility fees; endowments or memorials.
CRITERIA FOR EVALUATING COMMUNITY PARTNER GRANT APPLICATIONS:
Applications are evaluated by CCHF’s Board of Directors, based upon how closely they complement CCHF’s Mission and Strategic Goals. All applicants will be notified, in writing, of the Board’s final decision by June/2026.
USE OF COMMUNITY PARTNER GRANT FUNDS:
All Grant funds must be used exclusively for the specific purpose(s) detailed in your application. If you are unable to distribute the funds, as intended and outlined in your Community Partner Grant application, the funds must be returned to CCHF no later than November 30th of the funding year. Failure to properly use or return undistributed funds will disqualify you from applying for future Community Partner Grants.
All Community Partner Grant recipients are required to complete and return CCHF’s online Community Partner Impact Report once all Grant funds are expended, but no later than November 30th of the funding year, in order to be considered for future funding.
COMMUNITY PARTNER COLLABORATION:
Community Partners are invited to collaborate with CCHF, for promotional purposes. We also encourage collaboration, where it advances the Missions of all parties, between CCHF Community Partners.
