Canton Community Health Fund: Supporting Careers in Health Care, with the Dr. Diters Scholarship & Community Programming with Grants that Impact our Community  …. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Dear Canton Neighbor, Friend, Business owner:

In May/1990, Canton High School senior Nancy A. MacLaurin received the first Dr. Diters Scholarship, awarded to graduating students pursuing a career in health care.  She went on to earn her M.D. at University of Connecticut in 1998, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of South Florida in 2002.  Today, Dr. MacLaurin practices in Durham, North Carolina.

Small town support ….  big impact.

Since 1990, over $50,000 in Dr. Diters Scholarships have been awarded to more than 65 Canton students and residents, pursuing careers in health care. Can you imagine their impact?

In addition to these Scholarships, Canton Community Health Fund also supports a wide variety of critical community programming and life changing initiatives that enhance the health, safety and well-being of Canton residents.
